Karen Nguyen, one of the owners of Collective Growers in Ottawa, Ontario was motivated to get into the industry because of how cannabis helped her dying mother.
“I wished we had known about it sooner,” she says.
Today, after several years in cannabis marketing, she educates customers on the medicinal benefits of the plant while also recommending great recreational products. Although Nguyen can usually be found at the Ottawa location, Collective Growers also has a store in Pembroke, Ontario and is opening a third in Kemptville.
