As a floral designer Rebecca Tull had found an amazing job but after her third child she realized being present for her girls took priority. That’s when she came up with the idea for an adult coloring book focused on cannabis.
“I wanted to be at home with my girls and I wanted to try something new,” Tull says. “I’ve always drawn and I was colouring with them when I realized I could draw better than what I was buying.”
The result, published for the first time through Amazon in 2019, is called Lifted Leaf. Tull says cannabis has been a part of her life for over half of it.
“I am forever grateful for it and I always will be. I enjoy the development process of the plant from start to finish. I start with the cannabis leaf as the core concept in my work and then incorporate all the other art styles and flowers that I’m missing by not being a florist anymore.”
